Posting Summary
Oversee the daily financial and human resource operations for Residential Life. Ensure operational accuracy, compliance, and efficiency by providing strategic oversight, process design, and training while delegating transactional work to support staff. Collaborate with the Associate Director of Business Operations to implement operational improvements, design standard operating procedures (SOPs), and align processes with departmental goals. Act as a liaison to the Administrative Business Service Center ( ABSC ) and support the department's financial and human resources strategies. Supervise an HR Coordinator and Financial Assistant(s), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, human resources, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in business operations, HR, or financial management.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in training development and delivery.
- Proven ability to design and implement efficient workflows and SOPs.
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), including intermediate Excel skills, and experience with enterprise financial and HR systems such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
