Posting Summary
Repair, calibrate, install and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of complex medical instruments. Perform duties including repair service, performance inspection and customer support in the management of clinical technology at Central Vermont Medical Center, Berlin, VT.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate degree in Biomedical Technology, Electronics or related field with one to two years related experience required. Effective communication, customer service and computer skills required. Valid driver's license or ability to obtain and driver's check required. Lifting up to 70lbs. occasionally required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions.
Desirable Qualifications
Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range
23 / hr-$30 / hr

Occasional evening and / or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Travel to and from worksites required, Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Position located in different city, Background Check required for this position, A post-offer pre-employment (POPE test) physical examination is required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period
