The University of Vermont's Department of Biology in The College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a full-time Lecturer, at no less than .75 FTE , in Neuroscience to join our nationally recognized and award-winning faculty. The position is for Academic Year 2025-26, with anticipated renewal. We are looking for candidates with a passion for teaching and effective communication in the classroom. Applicants will be expected to teach a variety of courses in Neuroscience and Biology from the introductory to the advanced level.

Qualifications : The successful candidate should :

• Hold a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Biology, Biochemistry, or in a related discipline;
• Have independent teaching experience and / or pedagogical training;
• Have the capacity to teach undergraduate courses at all levels ranging from general biology, genetics, cell biology, to advanced topics in these disciplines

The Department The UVM Biology Department is a broad, basic science department whose faculty members' research spans a range of core disciplines including biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, neuroscience, ecology and evolution.
