SUMMARY Overview of the position
The Marketing team is looking for a well-organized, creative, and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator, Entertainment Trading Cards. This position will be a key contributor to marketing initiatives including digital content, advertising, social media campaigns, influencer campaigns, event marketing, sales materials, mailings, promotions and fan engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will focus heavily on Entertainment products such as trading cards, trading card games, gallery prints, and collectibles. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic centered around achieving metric-driven results, as well as the ability to develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships and communications with internal and external partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works with Marketing team to develop ideas and strategies that promote Upper Deck products through various marketing channels.
- Ideates organic promotional ideas, create and execute items that meet internal and external guidelines, including approval trafficking.
- Helps develop strategic campaigns across social media, email and websites based on target audiences that facilitate community engagement and program awareness.
- Collaborate with Social Media Manager to contribute material for UD blogs, websites and other editorial needs.
- Coordinates contests and promotional sweepstakes programs, including obtaining legal approvals, acquiring and delivering sweepstakes prizes, coordinating related promotional events and interfacing with sweepstakes winners.
- Assists with events, including signage, digital assets, contests, on-site activations and network outreach.
- Must be willing to travel to special events and trade shows.
- Develop creative briefs and manage timelines for production of printed assets, including signage, mailings, catalogs, print ads, promos, etc.
- Tracks and maintains inventory of all marketing materials.
- Works closely with Brand and Design team to create, organize, and deliver campaign objectives for products.
- Assists with email blasts, press releases and product announcements.
- Ensures the social media calendar is updated and on track for Entertainment campaigns.
- Helps research, source and manage friendly relationships with influencers, hobby shops, and other industry contacts.
- Assists with compiling and reporting key marketing metrics and analytics.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 2-3 years of marketing experience.
- Experience in Entertainment Industry.
- Experience with Entertainment Trading Cards, Comic books, and Collectibles is a plus.
