SUMMARY Overview of the position
The Materials Preparation Clerk role is a unique and rewarding entry-level position that offers a variety of tasks to keep day-to-day responsibilities fresh and exciting. The type of daily tasks will include preparing materials by using detailed work instructions, pulling materials from inventory, cutting materials, counting material pieces, and inspecting for quality prior to production. This position will have a heavy focus on hockey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Use a provided pick list to locate needed inventory in warehouse locations.
- Process materials for cutting; cut pieces.
- Accurately count and record pieces for production
- Sort, organize, and package finished pieces to prepare for transfer.
- Update inventory after every project is complete.
- Assist other departments as needed.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Related business/production experience
