Retail Sales Associate/Customer Service
We are looking for outgoing, friendly, motivated individuals to join our team. We are looking for people who:

- Somebody with scheduling flexibility and available on weekends but not all weekends. Store hours M-F 9-7 Sat 9-5 Sun 11-4.
- No late hours

SUMMARY:
The Sales Associate is responsible to deliver world-class customer service to all individual and small business customers. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products and services. The Associate exhibits confidence by knowing best practices as related to the industry. The ideal Center Associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine customer needs, and how to exceed their expectations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through customer engagement and quality product delivery.
- Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers.
- Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
- Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in Point of Sale system.
- Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
- Ability to receive and prepare documents for printing.
- Operate all other software packages.
- Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighting packages on scale, accessing manifesting software, generating labels.
- Assist in merchandising the center, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring clean and orderly appearance of product, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies.
- Perform end of day duties: reconciliation of cash, checks, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Operate office equipment (copiers, binders, cutters, laminators, etc.) in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - 6 months customer service and sales experience in a retail environment. Point of Sale (“POS”) and computer experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge and application of Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Prompt, reliable and responsible.
