What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Center Associate position at The UPS Store #2494?

Job Summary : The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for guiding customers’ experience with the UPS Store through every interaction. In addition to opening / closing duties, Sales Associate will be responsible for educating customers on UPS Store services and delivering those services with the highest level of customer service. We have a part-time position available. Design, computer and graphics experience would be helpful.

Qualifications : Knowledge of :

Basic procedures for shipping mail and packages
Copying, printing, and document management processes
Fundamental accounting, banking, cash management practices

Skills in :

MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Publisher

Email applications : communication & management

Graphic illustration & editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite

Ability to :

Communicate and spark rapport with customers of diverse backgrounds

Learn and retain information quickly

Cross sell and upsell additional services

Address issues and resolve conflicts through professional verbal / written communication

Requirements :

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time

Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation

U.S. Citizenship
