ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES:-Provide excellent customer service in an over the counter retail environment-Process customer shipments via UPS computer systems – Includes weight and measurement of packages-Pack customer packages utilizing UPS Packaging Guidelines and materials.-Utilize cash register to complete customer transactions; reconcile registers-Mail sorting and placement into customer mailboxes-Perform other mail duties as assigned.-Sell other products and services of The UPS Store-Assist customers with copy, print, notary and fax services-Perform various printing responsibilities using common software applications. (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator)-General housekeeping and other responsibilities as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:-Excellent customer service skills-Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in oral and written (e.g., email) form-Good typing and computer skills-Good quantitative aptitude – ability to work a cash register and reconcile at end of day-Ability to stand for 8 hours; ability to lift 50 lbs.-High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:-Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:30PM, Saturday, 9am-5pm.
