We are a locally owned The UPS Store franchise who wants to add an Associate to our team. The Associate plays a key role in delivering world-class customer service to our customers. In this role, you will provide our customers with an array of services including shipping, printing, notary, passport photos, laminating/binding, mailboxes, package returns and other retail services. The Associate advises our customers of our products, services, and best-value options. We are looking for a motivated individual who has retail experience, enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone, addressing questions with professionalism and courtesy.
- Communicate effectively and continuously practice good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and store leadership.
- Empathize and manage demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience.
- Meet customer needs by offering tailored solutions for shipping, packaging, and printing services.
- Sort, distribute, and manage mail and packages for mailbox customers.
- Perform printing services such as copying, laminating, binding, and shredding, ensuring high-quality results.
- Package shipments for safe arrival, including assembling boxes, building custom boxes, and cushioning contents per packing requirements.
- Operate copiers, fax machines, laminating machines, binding equipment, and other store devices with proficiency.
- Open and/or close the store, perform beginning and end-of-day accounting and administrative tasks, etc.
- Take action to learn and stay updated on all store service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Support the team with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Able to become a notary public per the state requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Willing and able to work 30 - 40 hours per week, Sunday – Saturday.
- Store Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm, Saturday: 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am - 3pm.
