The UPS Store Retail Sales Associate

You have applied for a position with The UPS Store, not UPS (brown company).

These are the prequisities:

2. You must reside in South Carolina, have a SC Driver's License and a registered voter in South Carolina. If hired, you will be required to become a SC Notary Public and perform notary services at The UPS Store. In addition, you must pass a criminal background check.

3. You must be able to speak clearly and type data retrieved from customers. This will require you have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

4. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

5. No requested time off in December

6. Must be able to achieve weekly sales goals

7. Must be available to work when scheduled. We are open 7 days a week.

8. Must be reliable and have dependable transportation

9. Must be able to follow policy and procedures

10. Must enjoy customer service, have a positive and energetic attitude and the ability to multi-task

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales revenue
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Keep the store organized by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively
- Provide information on products, pricing, and availability
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

Skills:

- Proficiency in retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Experience in technology or electronics sales is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries
- Knowledge of basic math for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain a neat sales floor
- Experience in upselling techniques to drive sales growth
