Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead to help manage day-to-day operations at The UPS Store in Enid, OK. The Team Lead will support the Center Manager in all aspects of center operations, ensuring the achievement of revenue projections for the store. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, retail experience, and a passion for providing world-class service.
Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Center Manager and collaborate closely to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support the Center Manager in achieving revenue projections, meeting sales targets, and driving profitability by monitoring store performance through the use of various reports and tools.
- Motivate, train, and develop the team in front-end operations to meet store goals and build excellent customer service skills and rapport while identifying opportunities for associate individual development opportunities.
- Assist the Center Manager in planning, preparing, and conducting meetings and other associate-related activities.
- Assist in the coordination of staff schedules to ensure the store is adequately staffed.
- Proactively and professionally resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Oversee store cleanliness, safety, and organization, ensuring a welcoming customer environment.
- Assist in creating systems to ensure compliance with center imaging, display areas and sanitation.
- Manage inventory control by assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Willingness to learn all the store’s services and products, assisting customers with accurate, thorough information, including processing packages for shipment and operating equipment and use of other store tools.
- Cross-train to learn printing sales, production, and finishing tasks.
- Accurately perform daily opening and closing procedures as well as other various accounting functions.
- Assist with cash handling, bank deposits, and recording all sales transactions on POS.
- Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance and ensure all associates do the same.
Receive, sort, and place mail in mailbox modules accurately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience in a retail environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to use tact and diplomacy in maintaining harmonious relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, stand for extended periods, and have manual dexterity to operate the cash register, clear paper jams, and fill out customer paperwork.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.
Become a notary and notarize customer documents when appropriate, according to Oklahoma state requirements.
Compensation:
Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour, with a 90-day probationary period and 6-month review. Opportunities for advancement.
Bonus: Monthly bonus awarded for reaching and exceeding sales, revenue, and customer service goals.
