The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for shipment and operating printers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices as well as offering designing and printing projects for customers. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
Maintains a clean and safe working environment
Assists in merchandising the center including stocking products, ensuring orderly appearance of product, and taking inventory
Communicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership
Completes tasks independently in a quick turn environment
Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining attention to detail and high quality control
Interprets a variety of instructions provided in written or verbal form
Records all sales transactions completely and accurately in POS system.
Takes action to learn all product and service offerings
Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required
Retail/customer service experience
Good communication and people skills
Able to cross sell and up sell products and services
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Outstanding phone and people skills; friendly, outgoing, and communicates well
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
Prompt, reliable, and responsible
Able to lift 40 pounds
