Cashier/Sales Associate/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty.

Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of a retail location, opening and closing the center, managing the productivity and world-class customer service delivery of the team, monitoring cost control and expenses.

Requires outgoing personality, exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage a team for peak performance in a retail-service environment.

Other skills required are strong organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, some accounting knowledge, good computer skills with knowledge of Internet applications

Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.

Assist customers to determine the best way to ship their packages and assist customers with document services.

Pack merchandise for shipment and process the shipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing sales transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing products as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a POS system is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls or inquiries effectively.
• A passion for sales and the ability to engage customers in product offerings will be highly valued.
