The UPS Store in Concord, MA is currently searching for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to work full time (from 25 to 35 hours per week).
The Retail Sales Associate must have the ability to learn quickly, give great customer service, have willingness to work well under pressure and must be able to lift 40 lbs. Duties include processing packages for shipment, operate copiers/fax machines, and point-of-sale devices.
The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business.
The average workday will involve standing for long periods of time, packages, ringing customers up using a register, talking to customers on the phone, and more.
Retail Sales Associate responsibilities include;
- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members
- Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions
- Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
- Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
