Job Summary
This part-time position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating various devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries, practicing good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership.
- Shipping Expertise: Take ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offer viable solutions, taking action to learn product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Equipment Operation: Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned and have the willingness to take an exam for Notary or hold a current Notary status.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, with outstanding phone skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Lifting and Mobility: Able to lift 40 pounds and drive a cargo van for package pickups.
- Scheduling: Willing and able to work 25 to 30 hours per week for a 6-day work week.
