Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team at the UPS Store. As a UPS Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting with shipping, receiving, and packaging services. Your role will involve working directly with customers to ensure their shipping needs are met, while maintaining a friendly and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and addressing their shipping, packaging, and postal needs.
- Process customer shipments, including domestic and international packages, using the UPS system.
- Assist customers with packaging and labeling items for shipment to ensure safe and secure delivery.
- Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments for services and retail products.
- Maintain the store’s appearance, including organizing merchandise and ensuring the cleanliness of the work area.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking products, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all shipments are handled accurately and efficiently to meet UPS Store standards.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate a computer and point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
