Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store presentation standards.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• Familiarity with grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash registers and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about products and services offered in-store.
