Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong desire to help customers find the products they need. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The Associate is involved with profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos and recommendations.
- The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices.
- The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and assisting with inventory management.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Able to cross sell and up sell products and services
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer calls effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to learning about products and services offered in-store.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
