What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager in Training position at The UPS Store?
We’re looking for a sharp, experienced professional to join our team as a Manager-in-Training at The UPS Store. This is a hands-on role where you'll begin as a Store Associate and—based on performance, leadership ability, and initiative—transition into a Store Manager role.

- Strives to make every customer feel valued while keeping the store’s best interests in mind
- Interested in long-term growth within a small business
- Demonstrates strong comprehension and critical thinking skills.

- Can easily adapt and pivot to changes, where required and has the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do:
- Learn many aspects of the store's operations
- Support and eventually lead a team
- Maintain high standards of service and store presentation

- Contribute ideas to streamline processes and improve workflow
- Help shape future employee policies, benefits, and systems
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate with opportunity to earn at minimum 1–2% of monthly gross profit
- Path to promotion based on performance, not tenure
- Potential to help develop company benefits such as a 401k as we grow
This role is perfect for someone who wants a chance to grow, think on their feet, and make an impact. If you’re energized by challenges and want to be part of a team that values integrity, hustle, and a commitment to excellence—we want to meet you.
