Sales Associate at The UPS Store, Marquette, MI.
The UPS Store network is the world's largest franchisor of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers.
Job Requirements: Position requires exceptional customer service skills, excellent typing speed and accuracy, ability to lift heavy packages, and ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to interact with customers in a friendly manner both in person and on the telephone. Must be dependable and punctual. Knowledge of Word and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
Additional duties include: Processing packages for shipment. Proper packaging of items being shipped using established procedures and products. Recording all sales on the POS (point-of-sale) system and accurately collecting and processing cash, check and credit card transactions. Retail sale of merchandise as well as merchandising the center. Printing, photocopying, scanning, desktop publishing/word processing, faxing, and other general office and cleaning duties.
High school diploma required.
Approx. 30-40 hours per week for full time. Part-time approx. 20 hours per week. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including 2 Saturdays per month. Store hours of operation: M-F 8 am-6:30 pm, Saturday 9 am-2:30 pm, closed Sunday. Applicant must be available to work varying shifts during franchise operating hours.
Salary: Starting wage depends on experience.
