Printing, finishing and graphic design experience is plus.
The Store Manager position will be required to perform all tasks associated with the retail sales associate listed below as this position will be hands on working along side other team members. In addition to performing all duties associated with the retail sale associate position this person will have additional duties and responsibilities. This person will be required to be a leader in customer service, problem resolution, problem escalation. This person will act as the store manager in absence of the store manager and ensure customer service and performance standards are met.
This employee will go through a training program that may require travel between two locations in Midtown and Buckhead. This employee at times may be required to go back and forth between locations on an as needed basis.
This employee will follow up on and oversee any on-going projects or accounts to ensure standards are met.
This employee will be required to obtain their Notary within the first 30 days of employment.
This employee will be responsible for following up with customers on on-going business via phone, email, and in person communication.
This job will entail between 40-50 hours per and will require Saturday and Sunday availability.
This job will require other job duties as required.
The Store Manager is responsible to deliver world-class customer service to all retail customers. He/She receives and processes packages for courier shipment, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Store Manager expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options. The Store Manager exhibits confidence by knowing best practices as related to the industry. The ideal Store manager candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, Associates, or Bachelors Degree, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. -- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
-- Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members, and leadership
-- Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions
-- Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
-- Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others -- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS AND CLOSING SHIFTS
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time, you will rarely sit down
-Must be reliable and punctual
Experience:
- Good communication and people skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in the Pack & Ship industry preferred.
- Shipping experience desired
- Able to cross sell and up sell products and services
- Able to follow and understand quality guidelines
- Able to operate a wide variety of business equipment
- Strong customer service skills and abilities
- Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed
- Strong computer and internet skills
