What are the responsibilities and job description for the The UPS Store Retail Associate position at The UPS Store?
We are looking to hire for part time/full time work. The ideal candidate would have flexibility in their schedule to work an opening or closing shift as needed. The most important shifts to cover would be Tuesday, Monday and Thursday 8:30-1, 1-7 and Sunday. Our hours are 8:30-6:30pm on M-F, 9-5pm on Saturday and 10-3 Sunday. MUST BE AVAILABLE EVERY SUNDAY FROM 9:45AM-3:30PM!
The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating equipment and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.
The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance.
We are a family owned business providing great customer service in the same location for over 30 years.
*Responsibilities
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Takes ownership of the customers' packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings alternative solutions and industry trends
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs alone

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
