Job Summary:-
The primary responsibilities include providing on-site support for the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and related devices and equipment. Responsible for scope care and maintenance. This position ensures that all reusable surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly decontaminated, inspected, assembled, packaged, sterilized, stored, inventoried, and appropriately tracked in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Cleans, disinfects, or calibrates scopes or other endoscopic instruments according to manufacturer instructions for use (IFU) and facility standards.
Responsible for knowledge of scope cleaning equipment and the potential exposure to hazardous materials.
Responsible of wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times.
Must be capable of working in a demanding environment; be able to stand for extended hours, bend, stretch, lift, and carry supplies and equipment as needed.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Clinical Office Experience
- Medical Training.
- 1-2 Years’ Experience Preferred, but will train the right person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
