Texas Oncology is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! This position will support our South Texas region consisting of the Gulf Coast Region, Central Texas Region, San Antonio Region, and Rio Grande Valley Region. This is a remote hybrid opportunity that can be based anywhere in Texas. Includes 20% travel* to practices throughout the region.

Responsibilities
What does the position do?
This position is responsible for providing strategic human resources support and guidance to the Executive Director, Practice Administrators and managerial team of the region. The role requires a consultative approach to HR uses influence to help shape the business decisions within the region. Must be a trusted partner to the business and helps with strategic alignment between human capital and businesses goals and objectives. As a strategic partner to our managers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. We're seeking someone with a wide breadth of human resources knowledge who can drive impactful change and support our mission to provide the best care to our patients.
The essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide consultative guidance on matters such as employee relations, performance management, dispute resolution, corrective action, compliance and policy administration.
- Is lead investigator on employee matters including identification of causation, facts, policy violations and other culture/value issues that impact the workplace.
- Conducts employee and management training on a variety of Human Resources topics. May develop training materials.
- Advises management on appropriate business solutions to salary expenditures and various compensation issues.
- Participates in regional meetings to bring solutions to human capital concerns helping align with business goals and objectives.
- Provides suggestions and recommendations to the Executive Director and Practice Administrators regarding development of their teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position will have the following background and experience:
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred; PHR or SPHR certification a plus
- Five (5) years of progressive human resources generalist experience required with emphasis in employee relations
- Solid knowledge of employment law, HR related policies and practices, employee relations tactics as well as benefits and leave related protocols
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, critical thinking and a passion to help our patients a must
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- 20% travel throughout the region required
