Overview

Texas Oncology is looking to hire a Palliative Care Physician for its busy interdisciplinary practice in the San Antonio market.  This physician will be working closely with over 50 health care professionals including Hematologists and Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Gynecologic Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Breast Surgeons, Colorectal Surgeons, a Thoracic Surgeon and several Advanced Practice Providers.  This physician will have an opportunity to spearhead a new service line and grow the team in the coming years.

 

San Antonio is a large city with a small-town feel.  It is rich with history with the San Antonio Spanish Missions including the world-famous Alamo.  As a destination city, it boasts the Riverwalk that streams through the downtown area and is lined with hotels and restaurants.  Started in 1891, “Fiesta San Antonio”, is an annual parade event with food, fun and activities to honor the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto.  San Antonio sits near the Texas Hill Country where there are limitless activities including camp sites, rafting and inner-tubing and the Texas Wine Country.  San Antonio is home to many military installations, great schools and colleges and an international airport.  San Antonio is a great place to have a career and raise a family.
