What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at The Vacation Property Group LLC?
A Driver with VayKLife will be responsible for both work inside of the warehouse and driving routes to drop-off or pick up equipment. Warehouse responsibilities include picking and packing, inventory management, and loading / unloading, all while adhering to best safety practices. The Driver is a versatile role in which the ideal candidate is able to be flexible with their schedule and proficient in both warehouse tasks and driving safety. This person must have weekend availability, as weekends are mandatory during the summer high-season. No CDL is required. Drivers must have experience driving with a trailer. Proficiency in trailer maneuvering will be tested on-site; passing is a requirement for employment.
Responsibilities
Drive safe delivery routes to drop-off and pick-up rented equipment
Follow the delivery manifest to ensure deliveries are being completed on time
Pick, pack, sort, and load within the warehouse
Repair and maintenance of rental bikes both in the field and warehouse (training provided)
Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
Communicate clearly with co-workers and Team Leads
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned properly after each rental
Ability to lift heavy objects
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Skills & Requirements
1 year of warehouse and driving experience
Clean driving history and no criminal background
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices
Organizational and time management skills
