Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Execute a range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other team members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures to promote long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic system, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
- Experience or training in endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is an advantage but not required.
