Responsibilities
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center , Desert View Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center , Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital and West Henderson Hospital.
- 150 beds
- A 37-bay emergency department
- Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
- Endoscopy suites
- Cardiac catheterization labs
- An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
- An interventional radiology / special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.
- Inpatient nursing care units.

Qualifications
Shift : PART TIME DAYS
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Acceptable phlebotomy training program
Technical Skills :
Basic computer knowledge required.
License / Certification :
Phlebotomy certification required upon hire (Laboratory Assistant or Point of Care analyst license may be substituted for certification). Licensed Practical Nurse, License Advanced EMT and Licensed Paramedic are also accepted. If national certification then Laboratory Assistant or Point of Care Analyst licensure with the State of Nevada within 6 months of hire.
