We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at The Valley Health System. As a key member of our sterile processing department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and ensuring the safe handling of medical instruments and equipment.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation, which includes disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, high level disinfection, and sterilization. You will also be responsible for caring for and operating ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment, as well as completing quality monitoring and documentation.
