Responsibilities
Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Job Description : Responsible for performing patient care / service activities / procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed ursing staff.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Education : Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.
- License / Certification : Current C.N.A. license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification from the AHA.
- Other : Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care / service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit / department.
