Assistant Director
New learning center in Star; we are looking for an assistant director to help us build and grow our first child care center here in Star, Idaho! We are looking for someone who is friendly, has excellent communication skills, great organization skills, and is passionate about creating a quality center for children. Experience supervising employees is required. A minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 1 month to 6 years is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in planning and implementing the daily activities of the school
- Oversee the enrollment process for new students and help them be successful in our school
- Assist in the development of curriculums that are relevant to our students’ lives and future careers
- Ensure that all teachers have the support they need to be successful in their jobs
- Oversee the maintenance of classroom supplies, equipment, and grounds
- Help with special events and programs as needed
- Ensure that all records are kept on an electronic system so that it is easier for future administrators to update information
- Manage student files and records, including testing, grades, reports, etc.
- Help with special events and programs as needed.
Experience: Assistant Director (1 year) (Preferred) Associate's Degree or above in Education or related field (Preferred) Minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
