As an Audiology Assistant you will serve as liaison between patients, physicians, and internal/external customers in person and by telephone. Hiring range is between $21.70-$26.00/hour and placement in the range depends on evaluation of professional experience.
Available Schedules:
Full-Time at Gateway Salmon Creek (40 hours/week): Four, 10-hour days, 7:00a-5:30p
Part-Time at Columbia Tech Center (20 hours/week): Thursday/Friday, 6:45a-5:15p (will transition to schedule after successful completion of full-time, on-site training)
In this role you will:
- Greet and escort patients. Answer incoming phone calls and scheduling
- Package and mail ear mold orders, device repairs, and factory returns.
- Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to hearing aids, ear molds, and other amplification devices.
- Clean hearing aids and other amplification devices.
- Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids and other amplification devices.
- Educate patients in proper use and care of hearing aids and other amplification devices.
- Perform non-diagnostic otoscopy.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in audiology or ENT department preferred.
- Previous experience with hearing aids and assistive listening devices preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must have reliable and predictable attendance
Pay Range:
$21.28 - $29.78

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
