Vancouver Clinic is seeking a full-time Referral Specialist who will provide courteous, prompt, efficient, service in person or by phone. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate processing of all referral requests by providers, clinical staff, and occasionally patients in a timely and professional manner.
Location: Park Plaza Admin Office, (203 SE Park Plaza Dr Suite 180, Vancouver, WA 98684)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Opportunity to become remote after successful completion of training and meeting requirements, approx. 6 months.
Compensation: Hiring range starts at $19.60. Actual hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premium is 100% paid for by Vancouver Clinic for full-time employees.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.
- Understanding of medical office practices and medical terminology required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience required in a healthcare office setting or in the health insurance industry.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of insurance requirements for referrals.
Pay Range:
$19.22 - $26.91

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
