Join the growing Vancouver Clinic Urgent Care team as an Urgent Care Nurse in Portland, Oregon!
- -NEW Urgent Care Location: North West Portland area
- -Wage: New hires generally start between $43.60-$54.40 per hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of relevant experience.
-Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00a-5:00p (training occurs in Vancouver, WA) - NO weekends! NO late nights!
Responsibilities include:
- Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol
- Work the RN in-basket for provider in-basket results, patient MyChart messages, RN call pool, routing results, referrals.
- Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
- Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.
- Need strong interpersonal skills to receive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers.
- Critical thinking skills to use resources and follow protocols and policies and strong time management skills to prioritize workflow.
Requirements:
- Active unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
- Active, unencumbered Washington or Multi-State RN license required. (required to have active Washington RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multi-state licensure)
- Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
- Organize and prioritize workflow.
- Work independently while functioning as a team member.
Pay Range:
$39.83 - $59.75

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
