Position Overview :
The Administrator I – IT Solution provides on-call and system support for applications within their responsibility area; works with business users and other key stakeholders to formulate business and functional requirements or systems specifications to create system and software solutions, and executes short duration (1 to 3 month) projects independently or with appropriate supervision (depending upon complexity).
The Administrator I – IT Solution is expected to maintain expertise with a specific application (e.g., ADP payroll / Infinium) or functional discipline (e.g., marketing) and work effectively with other information technology professionals to ensure that the application environment is stable, efficient and responsive to business needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for specific functions (e.g., Marketing) or configuration of specific systems (e.g., ADP payroll / Infinium) in the LVS Application suite.
- In partnership with the Business Relationship Management team, provide subject matter expertise for determining business requirements to address business needs within a specific function.
- Participate in the development of solutions that deliver the required functionality of the specified business requirements.
- Develop functional and / or technical specifications for a specific application area from the Business Requirements.
- Develop criteria for supporting developed solutions, including components of systems development and process improvement.
- Successfully engage in multiple activities simultaneously (i.e., application support, on call support, minor projects, subject matter expertise) within the specific application or functional area of expertise.
- Under direction of the BRM or project manager, work with users to define concepts for the business need within a specific function.
- Continuously build knowledge base of LVS application suite.
- Provide L2 application and on call support for LVS application suite within the specific application or functional area of expertise.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, and develop use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Develop and deliver business and systems analysis documentation to include business requirements definition, functional requirements definition, technical requirements definition, and use case.Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.Proactively communicate with business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural languageCollaborate with developers to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.Execute projects of short duration projects (typically 1 to 3 months), potentially under direction / guidance of Solutions Administrator III or a Project Manager (depending upon complexity)Participate as a resource on major projects as requested based upon by specific application or business function expertise.Safety is an essential function of this job.Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.Performs other related duties as assigned.Additional Duties & Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :
21 years of age.Proof of authorization / eligibility to work in the United States.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline.Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.3 5 years in business requirements gathering and definition required.1 3 years in information technology or working with information technology professionals requiredExpertise associated with a specific application (e.g., ADP payroll / Infinium) or functional discipline (e.g., treasury).Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions.Casino and hospitality application knowledge preferred.IIBA certification beneficial.Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into business and systems requirements.Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation.Ability to distill and present information to a broad audience.Flexibly adapt to a changing environment.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.Physical Requirements :
