Job Title: Bar Assistant Manager – Venetian Soda Lounge
The Venetian Soda Lounge is a cocktail and craft soda bar where creativity and quality meet. We’re looking for a hands-on assistant Manager to lead our team, refine operations, and elevate the guest experience. Cocktail experience a MUST.
Up to date DLC 1st class server training certificate must be provided prior to start.
About the Role
As the assistant manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the lounge, lead a small team, and ensure every guest has a great experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside your team while managing behind-the-scenes details. You’ll be responsible for inventory, staff training, and keeping the bar running smoothly.
The assist manager role is a part time role but full time is possible if willing to do a split role (part time assistant manager and part time bar tending).
Responsibilities: Leadership
- Lead, train, and oversee bartenders, barbacks, and other staff.
- Delegate tasks effectively to keep operations running efficiently.
- Create staff schedules and ensure proper shift coverage.
- Set a professional tone and foster a positive, respectful work culture.
Operations
- Manage ordering and deliveries to keep the bar stocked with quality products.
- Track inventory to reduce waste and improve profitability.
- Oversee cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Organize private events and support themed nights or promotions.
- Manage staffing and fill in shift needs, when necessary
Guest Experience
- Maintain high service standards so guests leave happy every time.
- Handle customer concerns and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Keep the bar welcoming, clean, and organized at all times.
