Server Assistant

Job Summary: The Server Assistant sets up and cleans the dining room tables before, during, and after meal service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assists servers in their set-up, service, and cleaning tasks.

· Serves water 10 minutes before guests are seated and serves bread upon arrival.

· Assists in carrying food trays to tables.

· Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dishwashing area.

· Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen.

· Cleans dining room area.

· Stock service station with supplies (bread baskets, dipping oil, bread cutting station, etc.)

· Collects trash from dining rooms and other specified places after each serving period.

· Takes packaged take-out orders to dining room for pick-up.

· Polishes silver service items.

Qualifications:

· Demonstrates quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.

· Knowledge of local and state laws for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests and applicable health department laws/requirements.

· Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.

· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

· Must be willing to submit to a post offer drug test.

Working Conditions: Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Works primarily indoors in a restaurant/lounge environment, with some outdoor work involving patio, pool, and on-course.
