Job Summary:
As a Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precise and efficient fulfillment of Verdes’ store and wholesale orders. You will be at the heart of our distribution operations, managing inventory levels, preparing orders, and ensuring adherence to our ISO9001:2015 quality management system. Your high attention to detail and dedication to the Verdes standards will be the key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Fulfill store and wholesale orders with meticulous accuracy, ensuring each order is assigned and prepared according to the Verdes Standard.
- Actively participate in inventory control, identifying low stock levels and communicating effectively to prevent product and supply shortages.
- Ensure meticulous accuracy in receiving inventory into our system, verifying each item against delivery manifests to maintain precise records.
- Conduct thorough inventory audits regularly to confirm the accuracy of stock levels and eliminate the risk of diversion, contributing to the integrity of our distribution network.
- Work collaboratively across distribution and back-of-house departments to support business needs and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of distribution processes, always seeking ways to enhance performance and productivity.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure that all items fulfill Verdes' stringent quality standards before distribution.
- Collaborate across functions, particularly within the distribution department, to support the overall business needs.
- Support the production departments by assisting with the finishing of products, including labeling, packaging, and aiding kitchen and lab staff.
- Manage sub-lotting of products from larger batches for individual orders, ensuring traceability and compliance with transfer manifests.
- Implement barcoding for products accurately, facilitating efficient distribution tracking.
- Adhere to the ISO9001:2015 QMS program, incorporating its principles into all stages of product handling, from digital and physical receipt to inventory audits.
- Manifest and transport products to retail locations as required, adhering to established routes, delivery schedules, and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation, complying with DOT and RLD regulations and safety standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned, always with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Preferred experience in cannabis or a related distribution field.
- Valued experience with inventory audits and a track record of process improvement.
Physical and Emotional Requirements:
- Capable of repetitive motion and fine motor skills for packaging and labeling tasks.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and manage occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Compensation/Hours:
- Competitive wage of $16.50/hour, with 40 hours per week expected. The role requires availability from Monday to Friday, with some weekends and holidays, and typical hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (schedule to be finalized with the supervisor).
