Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is primarily responsible for managing the flow of finished goods — both internal and 3rd-party — ensuring products are accurately received, tracked, stored, and delivered on time. Inventory control and operational precision are central to this role, with quality control acting as a critical support function to uphold Verdes’ high standards. You will lead a team that fulfills store orders with 100% accuracy and turns around wholesale orders within 48 hours. Success in this role requires a strong command of systems and structure, the ability to coach and drive a team with clarity and consistency, and a proactive mindset that values improvement over maintenance.
Operational Excellence and Order Fulfillment:
- Oversee daily order fulfillment operations, including processing, picking, packing, and delivery, ensuring a seamless workflow from order receipt to delivery.
- Develop and implement SOPs for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet and exceed operational goals.
Inventory Management:
- Control the flow of internal and 3rd party finished goods, tracking and analyzing inventory levels and developing protocols for loss mitigation.
- Identify and track waste, ensuring company policies and procedures are met.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to enhance processes, ensuring exceptional end-to-end fulfillment experiences that exceed quality standards.
Leadership and Process Management:
- Manage the fulfillment staff, setting clear job expectations, and monitoring workflow, productivity, and efficiency.
- Drive results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Manage staff recruitment, selection, orientation, and training, and foster opportunities for personal growth and cross-training.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce strict inventory control measures and oversee surveillance protocols to minimize shrinkage and prevent loss, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for and any discrepancies are swiftly addressed and rectified.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational standards, and maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the retrieval of all returned and non-conforming products, ensuring that they are compliantly destructed and accurately documented within our inventory systems in alignment with regulatory standards and Verdes’ policies.
Production and Efficiency Optimization:
- Ensure the completion of store & wholesale orders by scheduling and assigning personnel; monitoring progress and resolving problems efficiently.
- Develop & Analyze performance records and data, initiating improvements or optimizations where necessary.
- Develop and report on KPIs and establish SMART goals to track and improve fulfillment department performance.
- Report on various fulfillment and performance KPIs, providing data-backed insights to inform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, offering actionable updates to enhance order fulfillment service level agreements (SLAs) and vendor performance metrics.
Team Development and Support:
- Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and identifying and recommending solutions to improve team dynamics.
- Contribute to the overall team effort, ensuring related tasks are completed as required and the packaging department's goals are met.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, which may require the handling of multiple tasks simultaneously.
