Description
The ATF Manager is responsible for the overall daily operation of the Adult Training Facility (ATF) in Sewickley which includes the Program Services Department and Residential staff members. The ATF Manager ensures that all applicable governmental regulations are met, and that licensure is maintained. The ATF Manager is a salaried exempt position.
Contributions:
- Develops, sustains, and grows the Day Program’s services, including person-centered planning, community integration, and therapeutic supports.
- Familiarity with 2380 regulations that govern the ATF. Also, must be familiar with 6600 regulations since this is located in the ICF Campus.
- Leads ATF annual survey process to maintain current, active ATF licensure.
- Participates in preparation for mock surveys, survey preparation, and all governing body surveys as requested. Identifies potential areas of non-compliance, implements corrective action plans, and keeps senior leadership informed.
- Participates in ITR and Staffing of all individuals and ensures compliance in all areas of programming.
- Provides consistent and reliable leadership, supervision, and training to all Program Specialists and all Program Instructors to ensure all programming needs are met and implemented.
- Conducts interviews, assists with hiring, onboarding and training new hires, and monitors performance of all ATF staff members.
- Assists with creation and reinforcement of applicable ATF policies and procedures.
- Responsible for personnel management, interdepartmental planning, budget development and management, tracking expenditures, and quality assurance and improvement plans.
- Ensures all programming goals are implemented, monitored, and accounted by Program Specialists and Program Instructors for compliance and better care.
- Be able to implement and apply daily activities and lessons individually or in group based settings and goal-specific tasks in the ATF classroom.
- Completes assessments and goal-writing for individuals who receive day programming and for new admissions, alongside the ATF Program Specialists, as needed.
- Participates in the resident annual IPP review process, including all regulatory documentation needed for the meeting, and meeting attendance is necessary.
- Facilitates effective, ongoing interdepartmental communication through all means utilized.
- May lead and attend all Committee and interdepartmental meetings with enthusiasm.
- Works closely with Residential Services in different areas of care to ensure individuals’ needs are met.

Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college in Education or a related field with a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in the IDD field required, preferably for individuals with severe and/or profound disabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Education or a related field with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the IDD field required, preferably for individuals with severe and/or profound disabilities.
- Associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in supervision/management within the IDD field, or related field.
- Must have all required clearances and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
