V2X is growing! V2X is looking for an entry level Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) Operation Contract (NOC) in Houston Texas.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- 1-5 years of project management, project engineering, or project planning experience or advance degree in a related field.
- Perform estimation processes for new projects based on given requirements.
- Conduct necessary communications with Engineering Leads to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and assess technical issues, determine proper resolutions, either through trade studies or assessments. Provide alternatives for resolving these issues to the Engineering lead and NOC Chief Engineer.
- Inspect, test fit, and install existing and new hardware.
- Maintain budgets, labor resources and project schedules and convey any adjustments according to needs as they arise.
- Track performance and completion of multiple projects to Engineering Lead and stakeholders on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with the critical systems team to resolve any issues.
- Maintain mandatory trainings status.
- Support weekly Engineering status meetings.
- Present design and project status reviews as required to the customer.
