V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Tool & Parts Attendant, 2nd Shift to join our team!
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Performs the following duties, and other required activities as assigned. Must demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirements. May perform as a member or leader of a functional and / or cross- functional team.
Receives, stores, and issues tooling, equipment, parts, supplies and materials in and out of the tool crib or at remote locations within manufacturing. Maintains inventory records using electronic systems. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Monitors inventory of tools and supplies, manually or in electronic systems. Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tooling, supplies and equipment. Submits requests to replenish inventory as needed. Visually inspects incoming and outgoing tools and equipment for defects and / or damage; and reports damage to supervisor or SME. Maintains inventory records and prepares shipping documents for ESD Smocks, delivers ESD Smocks to Supply Chain once per month or as needed. Collects used shop towels, and delivers to designated drop off location weekly for exchange. Informs area supervisor of any issues or discrepancies with contract items received.
Performs required duties as coordinator for MDO calibrated tooling and calibrated test equipment. Duties include : Reviewing system reports to insure calibrated tools and equipment are accounted for and delivered to the calibration lab prior to expiration date. Maintain correct tool status and location in electronic system. Work with technicians and area supervisors to schedule required calibration in advance to minimizing any impact or delays in production.
Must be able to determine proper organization plans in the storing of industrial stock items for convenience of handling and protection from damage or deterioration. Some machining and tool knowledge and experience is preferred. Also, requires knowledge of engineering parts. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance may be required.
Requires bending, reaching and lifting of objects within Raytheon EHSS guidelines. Must have ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance may be required.
Required education : High School Diploma or GED
