A little about the job:
Behavior Therapy Technicians at The Veterinary Behavior Center are instrumental in assuring our clients and patients receive the best care possible, and have the best experience possible. Roles include, but are not limited to, the following: scribing for doctors' appointments, assisting doctors during appointments, executing carefully personalized treatment plans for patients with behavioral challenges. BTT's have a thorough knowledge of positive reinforcement based training protocols, and are expected to rapidly learn the specific protocols integrated into our practice at TVBC. BTT's also handle prescription requests, client communications, and some patient scheduling. Behavior Therapy Technicians must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in small teams.

Experience prerequisites:
- KPA-CTP, Jean Donaldson Academy for Dog Trainers CTC certification (2 year program) or equivalent experience (and commitment to science-based methodologies) and/or active enrollment in one of these programs
- Prior experience working one-on-one with clients and their pets using positive reinforcement training techniques
