Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring all dishes are cleared efficiently.
- Restock supplies as needed in the kitchen and dining area to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding any issues or needs that arise during service.
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service.
- Experience in bussing or food service roles within restaurants or catering settings is beneficial.
