Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and culinary support.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen staff by providing clean supplies in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
