What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver-CL B - Part-Time Various Shifts Available position at The Village Active Life Plan Community?
We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Class "B" and "C" Drivers. We are looking for a someone who is willing to work a flexible schedule and be available when the need arises.
Pay scale for Class "B" Driver -$19.00-$20.00 Hourly
Pay scale for Class "C" Driver- $17.50-$18.50 Hourly
Qualifications and Skills:
- Class B License
w/passenger endorsement and valid medical card
- Valid Class C License
- Ability to work a flexible
schedule
- Ability to lift wheel
chairs and walkers in/out of cars and buses
- Must present clean driving
record
Essential Duties :
- Timely pick up/drop off of
residents in company vehicles.
- Driving Company Busses on outings, trips and events for our residents.
- Assisting residents in/out
of vehicles.
- Assisting residents on/off
bus.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Notifying Supervisor of any immediate vehicle concerns and or safety issues.
- Effective Communication with Staff when transporting residents.
- Being a Team Player
- Assisting activity staff with events when necessary.
