What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper for The Village Retirement Center position at The Village Active Life Plan Community?
Pay scale- $16.00- $18.00 Based on Experience
Overview:
Performs various tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the community and resident apartments.
Prior experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be alert and active in supporting The Village’s commitment to safe practices
infection control, and respect for residents’ rights - Vacuum rooms with carpeting
- Sweep and mop tile floors; bathroom and kitchen
- Empty laundry from carts
- Clean bathroom sinks, showers, baths, and toilets
- Clean mirrors
- Move furniture as needed to permit cleaning
- Change bedding, including turning of mattresses
- Participates actively in team efforts to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout residents’ apartment
- Additional Duties assigned by Leadership.
- Pushing housekeeping carts to apartments
- Watches out for residents’ personal items to ensure they are not lost or misplaced.
