We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Village Active Life Plan Community. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes and equipment are washed and sanitized properly.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $16-$17 per hour, based on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:

Job Description
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably as a dishwasher. Key responsibilities include:
- Washing all dishes and silverware as needed for the dining room and coffee shop
- Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used by cooks
- Placing lunch and dinner plates in heating cabinets before meals
- Emptying bus carts for dining room staff
- Assisting with pot washer duties when needed
- Supporting kitchen staff with food preparation when requested
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work area, performing scheduled cleaning tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be physically able to lift and move heavy objects, and be willing to follow health and safety protocols.
