What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Driver position at The Village at Marymount?
MONDAY - FRIDAY POSITION
The Villa of Marymount is in search of a transport driver, STNA preferred, Monday - Friday Position
Position will be required to assist in scheduling of appointments and transporting to and from appointments or leisure activity
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fueled
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of trips and passenger details
Skills:
- Experience working with individual in the geriatric population with possible behavioral diagnosis.
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- Understanding of critical care situations
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
CNA - Preferred but not required.
Eperience in transporting by van/bus preferred
