Overview
The Village Health Care Center is seeking a couple of dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses or License Practical Nurses to join our team, for the double on weekend shifts with Baylor pay. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and safety, along with the ability of being a good leader. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and needs.
• Ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collect and process specimens as required for laboratory analysis.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate effectively with the Physicians, and other nursing staff.

Experience
Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and patient care practices.
• Experience administering injections and performing spinal taps.
• Familiarity with specimen collection processing.
• Knowledge of medicine practices.
